On September 7, the first China Digital Carbon Neutralization Summit Forum with the theme of "Digital Boosting Green Development" was successfully held in Chengdu.

The forum is guided by the National Cyberspace Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. Hosted by the Provincial Party Committee Network Information Office and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and organized by the Sichuan Province Chengdu Municipal Committee Network Information Office, Sichuan Province Chengdu Development and Reform Commission, Sichuan Province Chengdu Ecological Environment Bureau, and Sichuan Province Chengdu Park City Bureau. The Forum execution work was carried out by Global Zero Carbon Partnership and Escom Events China team.

Under the "dual carbon" goal, the digital economy and the green economy have also ushered in symbiotic opportunities. The vigorous innovation of the digital economy has given great impetus to green development. On the morning of September 7, the first China Digital Carbon Neutralization Summit Forum with the theme of "Digital Boosting Green Development" opened in Chengdu. The forum is guided by the National Cyberspace Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. Hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of China and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, all activities include the opening ceremony and the main forum and three parallel sub-forums.

At the main forum, Wu Hequan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and former vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhou Hongren, the former executive deputy director of the National Information Technology Expert Advisory Committee, Wang Jian, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and expert in cloud computing technology, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the National Committee of Experts on Climate Change Wang Jinnan, a member and president of the Environmental Planning Institute of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Wang Xiujun, chairman of the China Internet Development Foundation and former deputy director of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, and other industry leaders gave keynote speeches around the theme of the forum. The three sub-forums in the afternoon also focused on the themes of "Digital Technology Empowers Green and Low-Carbon Development of the Industry", "Digital Economy Drives New Leap of Low-Carbon Transformation", and "Digital Life Leads Green and Low-Carbon New Fashion".

At the opening ceremony, the China Internet Development Foundation released three achievements: announcing the official start of preparations for the digital carbon neutrality special fund; signing a memorandum of strategic cooperation with relevant institutions and enterprises in the realization of the goal of digital carbon neutrality; Space Green and Low-Carbon Action Proposal.

The heated discussion of this forum conveyed five basic connotations of digital carbon neutrality to the society, namely, digital space sings the main theme of "dual carbon" development, digital platform promotes ecological civilization to enter a new realm, digital technology enables green and low-carbon development of the industry, The digital economy drives a new leap in low-carbon transformation, and digital life leads the new trend of green and low-carbon, actively promotes the coordinated transformation and development of digital and green, builds consensus, and leverages the advantages of Internet technology and resources to help the construction of ecological civilization.
